Hi again!

In our last class, we went on talking about sports.

We revised how to say numbers and dates with a listening exercise.

We watched a trailer of ‘The Mousetrap’ on the net and we rehearse the first act of our play.

It was a pity to hear that not all of you will be able to attend the theatre show! What are we supposed to do with only three actors out of six! Anyway, I’m happy for you because the end-of-course- trip with your classmates is always a good memory to have for the future!

And to finish our class, we went on a trip!

The game consisted of travelling around the world in the least possible time. You started with a hundred days and you added or subtracted days according to the instructions on the squares of the board game.

The boys won!

But I’m sure the girls enjoyed their trip the most! They spend extra time in New York and Paris, so as to see all the sights. They even found out a hidden place in Madrid, off the beaten track (empty of tourists). But… it meant (it implied, had as a result) to spend longer on their trip and they lost the game!

The winners got 3 points, the losers, 1. And everybody got 5 point for participation in class!

Hi Guys!

In our class today, we talked about sports.

Depending on the sport we use the verbs, Go, Do or Play.

We use Go + ing, except fencing and boxing. We don’t go fencing or go boxing

We listened to three people telling us what sports they do, how often they do them, why they like them and what they need to practise those sports.

We also talked about the equipment, clothes and place where you can do different sports.
